In fact, research shows that they are already a popular learning method among digital users: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wyzowl.com\/video-marketing-statistics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">over 98% of people have watched an explainer video<\/a> to learn more about a product.<\/p>\n<p data-block-id=\"2ak6p\">In this article, I\u2019ll share how I apply videos in SaaS onboarding, including my use cases, best practices, and tools.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"9go4r\" data-block-id=\"9go4r\">5 Ways I use videos in the customer onboarding process<\/h2>\n<p data-block-id=\"89eba\">From in-app flows to self-support resources and email onboarding, videos come in handy throughout the entire customer lifecycle. Based on my experience, I\u2019ve compiled the most practical and effective ways to integrate video into your onboarding strategy.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"cr9ub\" data-block-id=\"cr9ub\">1. Add videos to your onboarding email sequences to boost engagement<\/h3>\n<p data-block-id=\"ajn01\"><a href=\"https:\/\/userpilot.com\/blog\/onboarding-emails\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Onboarding emails<\/a> are one of your earliest opportunities to guide users toward activation, but too often, they fail to inspire action.
