However, they are still new to your product and are focused on learning its core and most common functionalities.<\/p>\n<p data-block-id=\"7879f\"><strong>Goal for this stage: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/userpilot.com\/blog\/increase-user-engagement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Deepen user engagement<\/a> with the product&#8217;s main features. These include your welcome messages, problem-solution approaches, feature-benefit explanations, and onboarding emails.<\/p>\n<p data-block-id=\"23bcq\">They should be connected to product bumpers, in-app elements that help users understand and navigate the product. You must deliver the <em>right<\/em> message to the <em>right<\/em> person at the <em>right<\/em> time.<\/p>\n<p data-block-id=\"9umqj\"><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">In <\/span><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\">my<\/span><span class=\"ng-star-inserted\"> experience, these personalized emails are <a href=\"https:\/\/blueshift.com\/reports\/benchmark-report-2020-trigger-based-marketing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">497% more effective<\/a>\u00a0than bulk emails.\u00a0<\/span>But good personalization has to go beyond just names. It should factor in the user&#8217;s product progress, usage behavior, purchasing history, etc.<\/p>\n<p data-block-id=\"fe9v5\">There are many ways this can work in practice.
