In product management, standing still is not an option, especially now, when AI is rapidly changing how we build products, from discovery to user analytics. Conferences are where you get to step out of the daily grind, learn directly from other product people, and pick up AI adoption strategies you can actually apply.

One of the most popular product meetups is Pendomonium, a multi-day conference organized by Pendo. It brings together product leaders, customer success teams, and growth professionals who want to exchange ideas, hear from industry leaders, and stay ahead of the curve.

But let’s be real, attending an in-person event is a serious investment. Between the ticket cost, travel, and the work you’ll be stepping away from, it’s worth asking: Does Pendomonium 2025 deliver enough value to justify the cost? In this post, I’ll share my perspective.

Overview of the Pendomonium 2025 Agenda

Pendomonium is Pendo’s signature multi-day conference hosted in Raleigh, which traditionally brings thousands of attendees for the deep-dive sessions on product analytics, software adoption, and growth strategies.

However, this year, Pendo is mixing things up, offering two distinct ways to engage: the PendomoniumX (PNDMX) series, a set of one-day events taking place in various cities globally throughout 2025, and the main Pendomonium event, returning in Spring 2026.

Pendo offers 2 types of events: PendomoniumX, a one-day series, and the Pendomonium flagship conference.

Here’s an overview of Pendo events and locations:

City Date
New York City June 17, 2025
Tokyo July 2, 2025
Munich July 8, 2025
San Francisco (via Dreamforce) October 14, 2025
London November 13, 2025
Raleigh, North Carolina March 24-26, 2026

The official Spring 2026 agenda has not been released yet, but it’s likely to follow the established structure from past events. Here’s what Pendomonium included in past years:

  • Keynotes and mainstage talks: From product and industry leaders covering big trends (AI, product ops, user experience). For example, previous events featured speakers such as Lea Hickman (SVPG), Tim Simmons from Walmart International, and Pendo’s own leadership – CEO Todd Olson.
  • Multi-track sessions: There’s a set of 40+ sessions spread across the 3 days. Topics range from product strategy, AI-driven data analytics, and leadership development.
  • Workshops: These expert-led workshops offer intensive, practical training you can’t get from standard conference talks. Each is priced at $600.
  • Product Village/demos/booths: Meet the actual people building Pendo, ask questions on your Pendo shop, and learn what’s coming next. It’s part demo, part roadmap preview, and part sales conversation if you’re evaluating Pendo for your organization. The informal setting makes it easy to get honest answers about capabilities and limitations.
  • Networking and community building: Roundtables give you space to trade stories and swap advice with peers who actually understand your day-to-day challenges.
  • Festival vibes and evening experiences: Pendomonium separates itself from typical conferences by creating a party atmosphere. For example, their 2024 event wrapped with a concert, Pendopalooza, headlined by Rev Run from RUN unDMC.

How much do Pendo events cost?

PNDMX events cost $399 in the US and £299 in London. This includes all sessions, networking breaks, and lunch for the day (excluding travel and hotel expenses).

While Pendo hasn’t released 2026 pricing for the main event, it won’t be much different from 2024:

Ticket Type Price
(Super) Early Bird $999–$1,099
Standard Registration $1,199
Workshop Add-ons $600 each
#mtpcon-only Pass $799
Group Package (Buy 3, Get 1 Free) Varies
Group of 10 $4,999
Unlimited Access $8,999

Total cost: Expect $2,500-$4,000 per person with travel to Raleigh, 2-3 nights of hotels, and meals included.

What are the Pendomonium 2025 key topics and themes

This year’s events focus on one central question: How do we build software experiences fit for the age of AI? Here are some of the confirmed sessions of 2025 and the most popular ones from 2024 to give you a taste of what it can be like:

Here are some talks that caught my eye when scanning the lineup:

  • AI adoption: It’s all about the value: At Pendo, they shifted from human-driven AI, where people lead and AI supports, to machine-driven AI, where AI takes the initiative and users simply approve, refine, or decline recommendations. In this session, Dr. Inbal Budowski-Tal, Sr. Director of Machine Learning at Pendo, will showcase the latest suite of AI features in the Pendo and reveal how the engineering teams leaped to machine-driven intelligence with new products like Listen and Orchestrate.
  • Turning your CX team into AI-driven retention champions: Reducing churn and boosting adoption is no easy task, especially when traditional health scores fall short. Sneha Raghavan, VP of Customer Experience at Pendo, will share how her team turned this challenge into an advantage by pinpointing the most powerful retention signals in Sales Cloud, embedding AI-driven guidance right into rep workflows, and building stronger ties with sales to scale proactive customer engagement.
  • Adopting the product operating model: Generative AI and ever-rising customer expectations are reshaping how modern businesses operate. This session unpacks the product operating model, the playbook behind today’s most innovative tech organizations, and shows how it’s fueling the Gen AI revolution.
  • Personalized + AI-powered onboarding experiences that drive customer value and product adoption: Today, business leaders are challenged to do more with less, both with their budgets and their team resources, while maintaining the exceptional and personalized experiences that customers have come to expect. In this session, leaders from Okta and SundaySky will share how they built scalable, tech-touch onboarding programs powered by AI, customer data, and product insights. Delivered across multiple channels, these digital journeys provide self-service, personalized content that drives feature adoption and long-term customer value.

Making the decision: Is Pendomonium worth attending?

I suggest applying this simple three-filter evaluation to decide whether or not to attend the event:

  • Learning impact: Will the knowledge and insights you gain be implementable across your organization? Will the attendance deliver measurable value to the company, like improve adoption or reduce churn? If you’re a Pendo user, this calculation shifts dramatically in your favor. You get direct access to Pendo’s product and account managers, who can help you master the software and get more value from your subscription.
  • Network value: Will your presence at Pendomonium enhance your visibility in the industry? Are your customers, partners, or prospects likely to attend?
  • ROI vs. cost: Do ticket, travel, accommodation expenses, and missed work justify the business impact?

I’ve researched Reddit threads and Slack chats, and from what I gathered, most people loved Pendomonium, had fun, and managed to build meaningful connections that lasted for years. But most also confirmed: the event is very brand-heavy, so if you aren’t using or planning to use Pendo, it might feel like a sales pitch.

Here’s what one Redditor says:

Pendomonium is FUN. They throw a Party with a capital P. Useful? Yes, especially if you’re a Pendo user. It’s VERY Pendo-centric. I met some amazing people who kept in touch over the years. You’ll probably learn something about product ops along the way if you’re interested in organizational change.”

The second Redditor agrees:

Pendo minimum is a GREAT time. It’s definitely a party atmosphere, but there’s a lot of really good information too. Coming out of there, you will be PUMPED on Pendo… While you are there, get some training for yourself too. If you can get comped tickets, have the company pay for training/certs, as there should always be money available in that bucket!”

And the third one chimes in:

“It’s very obviously a branding exercise, but if you’re considering Pendo and need someone to buy in, or you just want your team to get better exposure to what could be, it’s a great place for new ideas.”
